Victoria Vasquez
Victoria VasQuez has served as an educator in Waco, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 2018 and her Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University in 2020.
She has worked for Waco Independent School District for five consecutive years in various roles. In the 2018-2019 school year she started her journey in education as an inclusion paraprofessional substitute teacher. She then became a full time inclusion paraprofessional prior to her acceptance into the Transformation Waco Urban Educator Residency Program. She then attained her teacher certification and Master of Education degree throughout the 2019-2020 school year. She began her teaching career at Indian Spring Middle School as a sixth grade reading language arts teacher. She received the First Year Teacher of the Year award in 2020 and continued her journey at ISMS and was awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year. Miss. VasQuez then served as a master teacher for the 2023-2024 school year at GW Carver Middle School. Throughout her career she has been dedicated to putting students first and encouraging students to reach their individual goals. She has been dedicated to enhancing student learning, achievement, and growth through data driven instruction and building strong relationships.
Miss. VasQuez comes from a family of five, (mom, Dianna, dad, Gerardo, and sisters Jennifer and Stephanie) and is the first in her family to attend college. She loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
